Za'atar Egg Tacos

This one’s a little messy but it’s so worth it. You get a beautiful za’atar crust on the outside of your taco which you can then use as the perfect vessel to dip every last incredible morsel of rich yolk. Take a photo before you take a bite because this ones cool to look at.

Ingredients: 1 flour tortilla, 1 egg, Z&Z Za’atar, 4 oz shredded cheese, extra-virgin olive oil

      1. Bring a skillet to medium heat

      2. Pour olive oil and za’atar into individual plates

      3. Dip 1 side of flour tortilla into olive oil and then dip into za’atar completely coating one side

      4. Crack egg into a well-oiled skillet and cover until the egg sets

      5. Pull the egg off into another plate and place the tortilla za’atar side down into the skillet. Place the egg on top, sprinkle liberally with cheese and cover until cheese melts.

      6. Pull off the pan, fold your taco. Use the taco to dip all that delicious yolk.
